    The CareerCounsellor (Admission Partners) role is vital in providing guidanceand support to students seeking higher education opportunities.This position plays a crucial role in helping students navigate thecollege or university admissions process identify suitable programsand make informed decisions about their academic and career paths.The Career Counsellor will collaborate with admission partners toensure students receive comprehensive support and guidance toeffectively plan and achieve their educational and careergoals.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    • Provide careercounseling to students to assist them in making wellinformeddecisions about their education and careerpaths
    • Acquiring students who are looking foradmission to higher education
    • Work as a channelpartner with Mentorsity
    • Collaborate withadmission partners to ensure a seamless transition for studentsinto higher education programs
    • Conduct oneononesessions with students to assess their career interests skills andabilities
    • Offer guidance on selecting suitableacademic programs colleges and universities based on studentsinterests and qualifications
    • Develop anddeliver workshops seminars and information sessions on collegeadmissions program selection and careerplanning
    • Stay updated with current trends andrequirements in higher educationadmissions
    • Assist students in preparing forstandardized tests and entrance exams
    • Addressstudents concerns and queries related to the admissions process andacademic programs
    • Create and maintain resourcesrelated to college admissions financial aid andscholarships
    • Support students in creatingcompelling application materials including resumes personalstatements and recommendation letters
    • Monitorand track students progress and outcomespostadmission
    • Collaborate with academicadvisors faculty and other stakeholders to enhance student supportservices
    • Participate in outreach activities topromote college access and awareness
    • Utilizetechnology and online resources to provide virtual counseling andinformation sessions
    • Contribute to thedevelopment of career counseling and admissions policies andprocedures

    RequiredQualifications:

    • Bachelors degree incounseling education psychology or relatedfield
    • Proven experience in college admissionscounseling or related field
    • Strongunderstanding of college and university admissions processes andrequirements
    • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills
    • Ability to empathize andconnect with students from diversebackgrounds
    • Knowledge of career assessmenttools and resources
    • Familiarity with academicprogram offerings and curriculumstructures
    • Proficiency in using onlineresources and counseling platforms
    • Ability towork independently and as part of a team
    • Strongorganizational and planning skills
    • Experiencein developing and delivering educational workshops orseminars
    • Familiarity with financial aid andscholarship opportunities
    • Understanding ofstudent development theories and counselingtechniques
    • Certification in career counselingor related field is a plus
