Project Engineer (Civil - Site Execution)

Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering

Reporting to: Senior Project Manager / Construction Manager

Job Overview

We are looking for a result-oriented Project Engineer to lead on-site construction activities. You will be responsible for ensuring that site execution aligns perfectly with structural drawings and project timelines. The ideal candidate has a "boots-on-the-ground" approach and a proven track record of managing Mivan shuttering cycles in residential or commercial high-rise projects.

Technical Skill Set

· Mivan Formwork Operations: Practical experience in Mivan assembly, alignment checks, stripping, and refurbishment.

· Monolithic Construction: Expertise in coordinating large-scale RMC (Ready Mix Concrete) pours and ensuring surface finish quality.

· Bar Bending Schedule (BBS): Ability to review and verify BBS to minimize steel wastage.

· Quantity Surveying: Basic proficiency in joint measurement records (JMR) and verifying subcontractor bills.

· Planning Tools: Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project to track daily progress against the master schedule.

Key Responsibilities

· Daily Cycle Management: Drive the Mivan shuttering cycle (targeting 7–10 days) by coordinating between shuttering gangs, reinforcement teams, and electrical/plumbing vendors.

· Quality Assurance: Conduct pre-pour inspections (checklists) for reinforcement, formwork stability, and MEP inserts to ensure "Zero-Defect" casting.

· Labor Supervision: Manage and motivate site supervisors and labor contractors to meet daily cubic meter (cum) concrete targets.

· Material Inventory: Monitor on-site stocks of cement, steel, and Mivan components (pins, wedges, wall ties) to prevent work stoppages.

· Safety Compliance: Ensure all workforce members adhere to PPE requirements and height-safety protocols during formwork lifting.

· Reporting: Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR) and highlight any potential delays or resource shortages to the Senior Manager immediately.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹50, ₹70,000.00 per month
