Job Summary

Database Design & Development
Design, implement, and maintain relational databases - Microsoft SQL server.
Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases, schemas, tables, and dictionaries.
Create and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
Design and implement solutions that utilize JSON and XML for data exchange and storage.
Parse, validate, and transform JSON/XML data within SQL Server using built-in functions like OPENJSON, FOR JSON, and FOR XML.
Experience in NoSQL database
Performance Optimization
Monitor and tune database performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and implement best practices.
ETL & Data Integration
Develop and maintain ETL processes for data warehousing and reporting.
Strong experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), SSRS (Reporting Services), and ETL tools.
Experience with C# and integrate in SSIS packages - to interact with SFTP/FTPS servers or Webservices
Collaboration
Work closely with application developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements.
Leadership
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
Documentation
Maintain comprehensive documentation for database architecture and processes
Data Integrity & Security
Implement backup, recovery, and security measures.
Innovation
Stay updated on emerging database technologies and best practices.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with cloud-based SQL solutions (Azure SQL Database).

This position provides input, support, and performs full systems life cycle management activities (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.). He/She participates in component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements. This position provides input to applications development project plans and integrations. He/She collaborates with teams and supports emerging technologies to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives. This position provides knowledge and support for applications development, integration, and maintenance. He/She provides input to department and project teams on decisions supporting projects.
