• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Computer Animation, or related field
• Proven experience as a Character Artist in the gaming industry.
• Expertise in low poly modelling techniques and optimization for real-time rendering
• Create high-quality textures for character models, ensuring consistency and adherence to artistic style and project requirements
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Photoshop
• Strong understanding of anatomy, form, and proportion, with the ability to create visually appealing and anatomically accurate character designs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality character artwork and demonstrating proficiency in relevant skills
  
  

• Conceptualize, design, model, texture, and rig high-quality 3D characters, demonstrating expertise in low poly modelling techniques
• Apply a strong understanding of human and creature anatomy to create anatomically accurate and visually compelling character designs
• Review and refine the production pipeline for character creation, identifying areas for improvement, implementing best practices, and optimizing workflows to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Conduct regular reviews of character assets to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to project requirements, providing feedback and guidance to artists as needed
• Mentor and support junior artists, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities to help them grow and excel in their roles
• Collaborate closely with other members to ensure alignment overall game vision and consistency and coherence across all aspects of character art
• Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques related to character artistry, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and improve our artistic processes
