    Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented engineer who can take forward design to prototype through 2D drawings, conduct various test on prototype and prepare final manufacturing drawings. This role will involve working closely with our product development and testing teams to conduct trials and evaluations of our assistive technology products, ensuring they meet the needs and expectations of our users.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in planning and executing product trials and testing protocols for Frido's assistive technology products, including mobility devices and accessories.
    • Sending samples of various Frido products to selected participants.
    • Ensuring timely delivery of the samples.
    • Helping and instructing participant on correct use of the products through phone call, video meet or site visit.
    • Collecting product feedback, comments and input from the participants and generating reports from the same to improve products and features.
    • Compile and analyze trial data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to inform product development decisions.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in the testing environment.

    Qualifications:

    • Currently pursuing a Diploma in engineering, design, healthcare, or related field; coursework in assistive technology, human factors, or product testing preferred.
    • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical principles preferred.
    • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow standardized testing protocols and procedures.
    • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with trial participants, team members, and stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools; experience with product testing software or platforms is a plus.
    • Prior internship or relevant experience is a plus.
