Description

3Insys is the IT-OT Agile Integration suite for the Energy and Utility sector that provides a hybrid cloud-based integration Platform-as-a-Service (iPaaS) solutions for System Integration, Data Integration, Identity Management, API Management, and Robotic Process Automation. 3Insys assists utilities to securely orchestrate data flows and robotize complex operational processes throughout their disparate IT and OT systems and environments.

We are currently seeking a Senior Developer who is versatile in JavaScript and an expert in NodeJS . The candidate's primary focus will be on developing high performance, scalable, resilient, and maintainable solutions . They will exhibit a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, efficient implementation, and work as part of a team developing applications and services using Agile development methods.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing or updating application(s), implement RESTful backend APIs with NodeJS, modify/refactor existing RESTful APIs developed in NodeJS.
Developing unit and integration tests
Developing RESTful API document for use cases as per the requirements of 3 ^rd party users, partners and collaborators.
Providing junior developers in the team with guidance and knowledge.

Experience & Qualifications:

Ample experience on Core web fundamentals: HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
8+ years of experience with NodeJS and its core modules like File System, REPL, vm, worker, events, crypto, and the Debugger
Minimum 3 years of experience with testing - including defining test cases, test plans and guidelines as well as reviewing and reporting results of unit, functional, system, user acceptance, and/or performance tests.
2-3 years of experience of working with React or Angular based frontend integrating with NodeJS RESTful API backend.
Experience in preparing technical presentations, training documents, and reports on components, APIs, and UI
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

Required Skills:

Skills in JS frameworks/libraries like ExpressJS, TotalJS, AdonisJS, AsyncJS, Morgan, node-csv, Axios, , TypeORM/Sequelize, Mongoose, etc.
Experience of working with a Message Broker (RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka), implementing publish-subscribe patterns, implementing resilient publisher(s) and consumer(s) and management of the broker.
Knowledge of authentication/authorization mechanisms such as OpenID, OAuth2, JWT, API Keys, Basic and Digest
Exposure to ES6/ES7
3-4 years working with MongoDB mandatory.
Experience with ERP Solutions.
