    JOB SUMMARY


    • Role: Cloud Engineer
    • Working hours: 24/7/365 rotational shifts - MUST be willing to work in shifts.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:


    • Supporting and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS.


    • Responsible for maintaining AWS-based solutions to support a distributed micro-services architecture.


    • Implementing observability tools and services to monitor the application and cloud infrastructure.


    • Monitor and examine all application, performance, event, and system logs to assist in troubleshooting.


    • Assisting secure the AWS infrastructure with security tools and services.


    • Working with application teams to build, maintain, and document through Confluence the Development, Testing, Staging, and Production environments.

    TECHNICAL SKILLS:


    • Hands-on with AWS Console and Terraform scripts.


    • Hands-on knowledge with Prometheus, OpenSearch, Grafana, CloudWatch, S3


    • Very good knowledge of patching, backup, and logging with AWS services


    • Very good understanding of AWS services covering networking, security, compute, containers, databases, load balancing, and auto-scaling.


    • Very good understanding of Disaster recovery and high-availability strategies

    SOFT SKILLS:


    • Should have strong communication skills, excellent spoken and written English.


    • Should be able to communicate and express ideas, issues, and suggestions effectively.


    • Should be an excellent team player.


    • Should be willing to support critical production issues out of working hours.


    • Should have excellent troubleshooting skills.


    • Should be able to document a solution
