- Collaborating with the design, operations, and customer support teams to understand customer needs and develop solutions for them.
- Build platforms like audit and alerting systems to act as force-multiplier for the rest of the team.
- Monitor and enhancem code quality to maintain high shipping velocity.
- 2+ years of professional experience. Familiarity with Java and Spring Boot is a bonus but not a requirement.
- Ability to design and develop REST services. Familairity with streaming technologies like Kafka, SQS etc is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities
As the first full-time backend engineer at Shoffr, you will be responsible for powering the entire functionality that delights our guests. Our backend systems range from order and payment management systems to geo-data management systems to systems that use IoT data streams to power real-time monitoring of our fleet. And while your experience and expertise as a backend engineer will be important, your ability to wear multiple technical hats will be even more critical to your success. The right candidate will get to create their own growth charter with us.
