Role and Responsibilities

• Backend Automation: Ensure comprehensive test coverage by implementing automation frameworks and tests, primarily focusing on the backend components.
• API Testing: Write and execute test cases for API validation ensuring that the APIs are functioning as intended. Good to have: Knowledge of API performance testing.
• Database Testing: Validate data consistency, integrity, and performance.
• Server Logs: Examine server logs for error diagnosis, detection of anomalies, and ensuring the absence of leaks or threats.
• Production Monitoring: Actively monitor the health of production systems, identify potential issues, and take corrective actions.
• Web Automation: Should be able to work on automating web dashboards using Selenium
• System Design Understanding: Analyze the software architecture and design to identify potential gaps or vulnerabilities that may impact the system's performance or security.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Should be able to perform automation using JAVA
• Strong knowledge on Automation using various frameworks (POM, BDD, Data Driven)
• Experience in using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured, Maven, TestNg, CICD using Jenkins.
• Rest Assured:1+ years of relevant experience in automating REST APIs.
• Selenium:Min 1+ year of expertise in web automation tools and frameworks.Good to have : if expertise in Selenium Grid
• Appium: Good to have : if worked on Mobile automation (Android or IOS)
• Proven expertise in API testing, including writing test cases. Knowledge of performance/load testing will be an advantage.
• Good to have : Familiarity with database testing methods and tools.
• Proficient understanding of GIT
• Experience in analyzing server logs and identifying critical information.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
