- Lead production and procurement team on all new product introduction and ramp-up.
- Conduct relevant CAD and DFMEA steps from internal designs to design for manufacturing
- Collaborate with all teams to develop prototype, failure analysis, and improvements.
- Plan, design and develop roadmaps for the team on product-specific testing, certification, and market launch
- Identify and develop supplier partners and enable the transfer of knowledge.
- Engineer solutions that are manufacturable and within cost guidelines
- Work with thin metal parts across different processing techniques
- Upgrade and industrialize fabricators
- Build new networks of manufacturers and fabricators
- Lead vendor development and procurement for all electronics products
- Collaborate with Mechanical design, CFD, Electrical Engineering, and Design teams to ensure product functionality, quality, price expectations
- Optimize manufacturing cost and time where relevant
- Develop and implement methodologies and plans to ensure the use of sustainable materials and processes in the product manufacturing.
- Build in-house tweaking and maintenance capabilities based on expected manufacturing challenges
- Enforce high quality and tolerance standards for each part designed, fabricated, and assembled
- Deal with multi-national vendors and product pricing, procurement, hedging.
