Job description
A Front Line Sales (FLS) professional in life insurance is responsible for driving new business by acquiring customers, achieving monthly sales targets, and managing channel partners (agents/brokers). This field-based role involves meeting customers, selling financial solutions, ensuring policy renewals, and providing superior customer service to maintain high retention rates. - Sales Target Achievement: Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for premium and policy counts.
- Customer Acquisition & Interaction: Identify potential customers, conduct sales calls, explain product features, and close sales.
- Channel Management: Recruit, train, and activate Agency Partners (Financial Consultants) to sell insurance products.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and agents for long-term business growth.
- Compliance & Due Diligence: Ensure all sales comply with regulatory standards (IRDAI) and verify client documents to prevent fraud.
- Support & Servicing: Assist in post-sales services, including premium renewals and facilitating claim settlements.
