About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee and manage our financial processes and accounting team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to drive financial efficiency within the organization.
The Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in general accounting and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities
General Accounting (RTR):Maintain Accurate accounting books.
Develop and maintain financial reporting systems to provide timely and accurate financial information to management.
Generate financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Team Leadership and Development:
Supervise and mentor large accounting team (Approx. 60 associates), fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Oversee day-to-day operations general ledger activities, reconciliations and Cash postings.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve overall efficiency.
Implement best practices to enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of financial reporting.
Requirements:
Education and Certification:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. MBA (Finance) preferred.
Experience:
Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, team management.
Skills:
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in accounting software (Yardi, Realpage) and MS Office Suite.
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Industry Knowledge:
Property accounting experience is preferred.
