Description

As a Senior Engineering Manager in the AI space, you should have experience leading teams that have worked on AI or machine learning products.

You should have sufficient understanding of how to build artificial natural language agents and the data architectures to support them.

You will work closely with product, research and engineering leaders to formulate hiring plans, advise on strategy, and optimize engineering resources towards business needs.

Lead Engineering Excellence:
Direct and inspire engineering teams to develop innovative, high-quality products. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth among Engineering Managers, software engineers, architects, and technical leaders.


Strategic Vision:
Collaborate with key stakeholders to define compelling product and technology plans, emphasizing incremental development and delivery. Set clear objectives with measurable results, driving team and individual accountability.

Leadership:
Mentor and coach Engineering Managers, guiding them in their leadership journey. Align people, capacity, and dependencies to deliver on priorities and objectives. Ensure productive cooperation with Product, Engineering, Research, Operations, and Support teams.


Innovation and Efficiency:
Insist on excellence and efficiency in software engineering practices. Embrace a continuous improvement mindset, promoting innovation and knowledge sharing among teams and across the organization.


Qualifications :
Experience: 12+ years in software development with at least 5 years leading software development managers. Proven experience in the technology product industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of product development and innovation.


Technical Proficiency:
Skilled in developing and delivering modern SaaS products. Proficient in cloud-native scalable systems, especially on AWS. Experienced in modern DevOps principles.


Leadership:
Decisive technology leader with a bias towards action. Exceptional ability to connect with people, form relationships, and work cross-functionally to achieve shared goals.

Professional command of the English language, bothGlobal Collaboration:
Proven ability to work effectively across geographies. Experience managing managers and attracting/retaining top engineering talent.
