    Responsibilities:

    • You will be responsible for the fullcycle finance operations of the BBU group of entities.
    This is a highly visible role that interacts with many other departments, including private funds, treasury, investments team, tax, and finance teams in other parts of the world:


    • Maintain accurate books and records for all transactions involving the Canadian asset manager; work closely with the treasury team to obtain and document proper understanding for each transaction.
    • Perform and review regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
    • Assist with quarterly reporting and the consolidated results of the asset management operations.
    • Support the publicly traded company's (BBU) consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
    • Assist in preparation of various analyses and reports for senior management to support their business decision making.
    • Prepare timely and accurate reports for the private funds team that will form an integral part of fund reporting to private institutional investors.
    • Calculate and compile private fund management fees.
    • Maintain organized and welldocumented policies and procedure documents.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in bookkeeping and financial reporting.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    Must Have:

    • At least three (3) years of experience working in a corporate accounting or audit firm, preferably in financial services or asset management.
    • The ability to work in a dynamic, complex, fastpaced environment, adapt quickly to manage changing priorities and deadlines.
    • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
    • Very strong attention to detail
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines.
    • Selfmotivated, resourceful, and proactive, with respect to both managing workload and professional development.
    • Complex legal structures

    Nice to Have:
