    Steamax Envirocare is a leading provider of innovative biomass energy solutions, committed to promoting biomass usage in different industries through innovation. We are currently seeking a Senior Procurement Engineer to oversee the acquisition of materials for fuel conversion projects and boiler installations. The ideal candidate will manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of high-quality materials, collaborating closely with technical and production teams to support Steamax's mission of delivering environmentally friendly energy solutions.

    Roles and Responsibilities:
    1. Procurement Management: Manage the procurement of materials required for fuel conversion projects, boilers, and air pollution control devices. Ensure timely acquisition of materials to meet project timelines and specifications.
    2. Vendor Management: Maintain and manage relationships with existing vendors. Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
    3. Vendor Negotiation: Negotiate with vendors to secure the best prices and terms. Strategically negotiate contract terms to ensure cost-efficiency and resource optimization.
    4. New Vendor Development: Identify and qualify new vendors to expand the supplier base. Assess new vendors based on the company's standards of quality, delivery time, and cost. Cross-Functional
    5. Coordination:Coordinate closely with technical and production teams to understand material requirements and specifications.Liaise with the accounts department to ensure timely payments to vendors.
    6. Purchase Order Management: Issue purchase orders and oversee their fulfilment. Monitor third-party manufacturing to ensure compliance with purchase agreements.
    7. Quality Control and Assurance: Oversee quality control and assurance processes to ensure that materials meet required standards. Implement and maintain quality protocols with vendors and internal teams.
    Eligibility Criteria:
    1. Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Industrial, or a related field.
    2. Experience: Minimum 2 year of experience in procurement, especially in an engineering or manufacturing environment.Experience in vendor management and development.
    3. Skills: Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable terms.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with vendors and internal teams. Proficient in using procurement software and tools.
    4. Knowledge: Deep understanding of the technical requirements for boilers, fuel conversion projects, and air pollution control devices.Familiarity with quality control standards and quality assurance processes.
