    About the Role

    :

    In this opportunity as Senior Director, Data Enablement , you will:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experience Senior Director, Data Enablement to lead our organization's data operations, consent and privacy, synthetic and test data management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and refining managing data risk, data governance operations and processes, developing third-party data management strategies, and ensuring compliance with data acquisition, storage, and processing requirements.

  • Implement and refine data governance frameworks in accordance with data policies set by compliance teams.
  • Employ a data risk-based approach to identify potential data risks, establish mitigation plans, and classify residual risk ratings for each data risk factor.
  • Develop and maintain a third-party data management strategy, incorporating industry best practices.
  • Oversee the operational aspects of data acquisition, storage, processing to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Define requirements for data environments both within and external to Thomon Reuter's Data Platform.
  • Consent and Privacy Operations:
  • Translate established data privacy and governance policies into operational processes, focusing on the management of personal data.
  • Oversee the data consent process, ensuring proper collection, documentation, and tracking of consent for various program executions.
  • Handle privacy inquiries and requests in a timely manner, in accordance with program delivery guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Record of Processing Activities (RoPA) consistent with personal data handling policies.
  • Ensure that data handling practices, including data residency, data sharing, comply with program-specific and regulatory requirements.
  • Synthetic and Test Data Management:
  • Facilitate and creation of synthetic data sets that closely mirror production data for testing and development purposes.
  • Formulate strategies for test data management, including the application of data masking and anonymization techniques.
  • Work in collaboration with data operations and platform teams to maintain consistency and reliability in test data environments.
  • About You

    You're a fit for the role of Senior Director, Data Enablement, if your background includes:

  • Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, AI or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior data management role, preferably as a Senior Director or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of data risk management and mitigation strategies, on a per data risk or harm-level.
  • Experience leading technical teams at the intersection of governance, automation, and model development, preferably in a global setting.
  • Experience with data privacy laws and regulations, and the ability to operationalize privacy policies.
  • Knowledge synthetic/test data creation and management, with a focus on data security and privacy.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across various business functions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience with common cloud and reporting tooling (AWS, GCP, Azure, Tableau, PowerBI, OneTrust, etc.)
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across business functions for enterprise adopt and change management.
