Position Overview

As a Warehouse Operations Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the logistics and planning processes within our plant. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading a proficient team of loading supervisors to ensure compliance with internal control measures, thereby maintaining inventory accuracy and providing necessary training.
• Implementing quality control and safety standards in the warehouse, addressing any discrepancies as they arise.
• Facilitating accurate loading slips through collaboration with the logistics invoicing team to ensure correct billing for shipments.

Key Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in warehouse management or logistics is preferred.
• At least 5-6 years of experience in warehouse operations within a related sector.
• Comprehensive understanding of inventory management and best practices in warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems.
• Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Willingness to provide operational support beyond standard business hours.

Your role will also involve:

• Executing stock rotations following FIFO (First In, First Out) guidelines to ensure product quality and validity of expiration dates.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations in line with food safety compliance and Good Warehouse Practices (GWP).
• Determining the most efficient product movement routes within the warehouse to optimize operations.
• Ensuring proper vehicle selection and material loading according to quality and customer-specific checklists.
• Maintaining a solid understanding of warehouse management systems and food safety guidelines.
• Documenting material movements and preparing necessary reports for management review.
• Monitoring inventory accuracy and upholding high standards for transactions and documentation.
• Managing product aging and freshness within the warehouse.
• Overseeing the management and storage of sales returns, damaged goods, and non-compliant products.
• Maximizing warehouse capacity utilization while minimizing overall shifting costs.
• Focusing on customer satisfaction during warehouse operations to mitigate complaints.
• Conducting root cause analysis and corrective action plans for any operational complaints.
• Coordinating stock allocation and management as directed by the quality and planning teams.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams in Manufacturing, Planning, and Quality to ensure effective warehouse and inventory management.
• Providing relevant data and analysis for various reports throughout the supply chain.
• Supervising the team to ensure timely invoicing of shipments and related documentation.
• Preparing accurate logistics reports for upper management.
• Utilizing logistics IT systems to enhance operational procedures.
• Championing ERP software and providing regular training to staff.
• Coordinating with external warehouse and transport service providers for timely bill submissions and payments.
