    Overview


    As an FP&A Business Analyst, you will work with Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying interactive dashboards using Power BI.

    This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage data analytics to provide insightful business advice, and contribute to optimize our financial reporting mechanisms.


    Education and Experience Requirements:


    Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, preferably in a quantitative field of study, computer science, statistics, or financeMinimum of 8+ years of professional experience, preferably in Power BI Developer role but otherwise in quantitative or IT role.

    Strong understanding of data modelling, data manipulation and data transformation techniques such as DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), M (Power Query), and complex SQL queries.

    Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets, conduct statistical analysis, data mining, and apply advanced analytics techniques (e.g., forecasting, predictive modeling, machine learning) to derive actionable insights.

    Solid understanding of business processes, financial principles, and industry-specific metrics.

    Ability to translate business requirements into data analytics solutions, develop KPIs, and align data analytic initiatives with strategic business objectives.

    Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both verbal and written.


    Major Responsibilities:

    Data Visualization and Analysis:

    Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize complex data sets and provide actionable insights for decision-making.

    Analyse complex data sets to extract meaningful insights and identify trends, patterns, and outliers.


    Data Modeling and Integration:
    Create and optimize data models to facilitate efficient data analysis and visualization within Power BI. Integrate data from multiple sources to ensure comprehensive reporting capabilities.


    Coding and Scripting:
    Utilize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and M (Power Query) languages to implement complex calculations, transformations, and data manipulations within Power BI

    Dashboard Customization:
    Customize dashboard layouts, visualizations, and interactivity features to meet business requirements and user preferences. Ensure intuitive navigation and user-friendly interface design.


    Performance Optimization:
    Optimize dashboard performance and data refresh schedules to minimize load times and ensure responsiveness. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to enhance user experience.


    Quality Assurance and Testing:
    Conduct thorough testing and validation of Power BI dashboards to ensure accuracy, reliability, and data integrity. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate enhancements.


    Documentation and Training:
    Document best practices, standards, and guidelines for Power BI development and deployment. Provide training and support to end-users.


    Data Governance and Security:
    Implement data governance policies and security measures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with security requirements

    Continuous Improvement:
    Stay abreast of latest Power BI features, updates, and industry trends. Explore opportunities for process automation, optimization, and innovation such as AI, ML, and NLP, and predictive analytics.


    Collaboration and Communication:

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including FP&A analysts, IT professionals, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver effective Power BI solutions aligned with organizational goals.
