    Description
    We are seeking a dynamic andproactive Business Development Executive to join our team in theFreight Forwarding industry. The ideal candidate will beresponsible for identifying and prospecting new businessopportunities through coldcalling and salesactivities.
    KeyResponsibilities:
    • Identifyand prospect new business/clients via coldcalling and salesactivities.
    • Build anddevelop strong relationships with new and existingclients.
    • Conductregular followups with clients to encourage upselling andretention.
    • Monitor theprogress of the shipment until the finaldestination.
    • Participatein contract setting and monitor customerpayments.
    • Takeownership of customer issues and follow through tillresolution.
    • Preparationof Daily Sales Reports (DSR) and updating shipment status tocustomers on a dailybasis.
    • Regularlyattend teammeetings.
    • Submitneedbased data toManager.
    • Quickresponse toemails.
    • Resolvecustomer queries regardingshipments.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelorsdegree in Business Administration Marketing or relatedfield.
    • Proven trackrecord of 12 years in Freight Forwarding or a similarindustry.
    • Strongcommunication and negotiationskills.
    • Excellentinterpersonal skills with the ability to build rapportquickly.
    • Goalorientedwith a focus on achieving salestargets.
    • Ability towork independently and as part of ateam.
    • Proficiency inMS Officesuite.
    • Knowledge offreight forwarding processes and procedures ispreferred.
