About Corporate and Investment Banking & Investment Research (CIB & IR)

As a global leader in knowledge processes, research, and analytics, you'll be working with a team that specializes in global market research, working with the top-rated investment research organizations, bulge bracket investment banks, and leading asset managers. We cater to 8 of the top 10 global banks, working alongside their product and sector teams, supporting them on deal origination, execution, valuation, and transaction advisory-related projects.

Important responsibilities in this role will include:

·Supporting investment banking firms in various tasks, such as preparation of pitch books, conducting benchmarking analysis, company comparables, precedent transaction analysis, databases, screening industry studies, ad-hoc research, and handling recurring requests as per client requirements

·Handling responsibilities such as allocating work, running quality checks on deliverables, training and guiding team members, maintaining efficiency in ensuring adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs), and conducting internal client communication

·Providing effective, constructive, timely, and objective feedback to team members for their overall grooming and development

Skills we're looking for:

·About 8-12 years of relevant experience in investment banking

·Graduation (BTech / BA / BBA / BBE / BCom, etc) from a reputed institute, MBA in finance, master's degree with majors in economics or accounting, chartered accountant, chartered financial analyst, or any equivalent degree

·Strong accounting and finance skills

·Knowledge of database tools such as FactSet, Thomson ONE, Capital IQ, Factiva, and Bloomberg

·Good MS Office skills

·Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects

·Strong strategic management capabilities, highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop innovative solutions

·Proactive contribution to firm's goals and mission

·Ability to challenge current thinking by implementing new ways of working

·Ability to ensure timely completion of tasks within areas of responsibility

·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·An attentive and active listener
