Role andResponsibilities:
Welcoming assisting and directing handlers and owners in aprofessional and friendly manner.
Ensuring that clients are promptly attended to and not kept waitingfor more than 10 minutes at thereception.
Answering all phonecalls and providing necessary information to callers whileencouraging them to scheduleappointments.
Classifyingconsultations as complete or ongoing and ensuring followupappointments are booked with the appropriateveterinarian.
Assessing the typesof appointments and scheduling time slotsaccordingly.
Ensuring that doctorsreceive all relevant messages andinformation.
Maintaining a log ofmissed calls and following up with clients for their nextappointments.
Keeping a record ofall received calls in a call historylog.
Placing confirmation calls toclients one day prior to their scheduledappointments.
Handling cashdeposits at the bank whenrequired.
Assisting in the role ofa pharmacist on days when no pharmacist is available (training willbeprovided).
CandidateQualifications:
Minimum 815 years of experience in a similarrole.
