- Accepting store deliveries and Control food stock and food cost in his section/kitchen. Coordinate and participate with other sections for requirements, cleanliness, wastage and cost control.
- Follow and maintain cleanliness and good hygiene and proper sanitation practices in the kitchen.
- Ensure strict following of prep chart for preparation and presentation of each items
- Communicate assistance needed during busy periods and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner
- Ensure that all stocks are well maintained in the highest standards to cater for the specefic numbers expected for the day
- Prepare the prep for next days operation and ensure storing them in the briefed manner
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly and would need to follow the cleaning/maintennce schedules for them as directed, escalate any malfunctioning to the Sr team members
- Perform and responsible for any other responsibilities allocated to him time to time by CDP/Sr management
- Understand fire extinguishing system installed and able to act upon basic fire prevention
