    JD – Platform Manager - Digital Channels [mobile app, website]

    Background:

    Muthoot Finance [NBFC] is undergoing a large-scale transformation. The objective is to build sustainable scale across its various Unsecured [Salaried Personal Loans, Small Business Loans] & Secured lending [Gold Loans & Loan against property] business by 1) leveraging existing customer and branch base across products, 2) on-board new customers. Building and scaling digital channels have been identified as one of the primary growth drivers to achieve the objective. This will be achieved by building seamless & best in class omni- channel journeys across website, App, call centre and Sales teams.

    Further, Digital channels like Muthoot mobile app, website and chatbot need to be leveraged for more and more customer engagement and service other than Lending journeys so that customers use and visit Muthoot's digital channels organically.

    Job overview:

    As the Platform manager for Digital channels at Muthoot Finance Limited, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and enhancement of our mobile app and website platforms. Your primary focus will be to conceive, plan, and execute new features and engagement tools that encourage customers to utilize Muthoot applications beyond their lending needs, fostering deeper engagement and loyalty.

    Responsibilities

    1.Platform strategy and Vision: Develop & execute strategies to leverage digital channels [like Muthoot mobile app, website and chatbot] for more and more customer engagement and service other than lending journeys and expand usage beyond lending activities. Define clear objectives and key results (OKRs) to drive product development efforts aligned with business goals.

    2. Customer Insights and Research: Conduct in-depth customer research, user interviews, and market analysis to gain insights into customer behaviours, preferences, and pain points. Identify opportunities to enhance the value proposition of Muthoot applications for diverse customer segments.

    3.Feature Ideation and Prioritization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and business development, to generate innovative feature ideas and engagement tools. Prioritize features based on their potential to drive customer engagement, retention, and satisfaction.

    4. User Experience (UX) Design: Work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and seamless digital experiences that motivate customers to explore and utilize Muthoot applications for various financial activities beyond lending.

    5. Platform Development and Execution: Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features and engagement tools. Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical requirements, manage sprints, and oversee product releases.

    6. Analytics and Performance Tracking: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of new features and engagement initiatives. Utilize data analytics tools to track user engagement, conversion rates, and other relevant metrics, and iterate on product strategies based on insights gathered.

    7. Customer Feedback and Iteration: Solicit feedback from customers through surveys, user testing, and feedback loops embedded within digital channels. Use customer insights to iterate on existing features, address pain points, and enhance the overall customer experience.

    8. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including senior management, product teams, marketing, sales, and customer support, to align product initiatives with broader company objectives and ensure cross-functional buy-in.

    Qualifications

    1. Must be holding a bachelor's degree in engineering. MBA or equivalent preferred.
    2. Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in product management roles, with a proven track record of successfully managing mobile applications & website and improving key matrices like registrations, MAU etc.
    3. Strong understanding of mobile app development, web technologies, UX/UI design principles, and agile methodologies.
    4. Experience in the financial services industry [NBFC/Bank] or related sectors is a must.
    5. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, derive actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
    6. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.

    Compensation: Total Annual cost to company upto Rs. 35 Lacs.
