    Job Responsibilities

    Design and conduct in vitro ADME assays

    o Plasma, Microsomal, hepatocyte, SGIF stability

    o CYP inhibition/induction and phenotypic assays

    o Plasma protein binding, RBS partitioning and tissue distribution

    o PAMPA and Caco-2 permeability assays.

    o Kinetic and thermodynamic solubility studies

    o Experience in maintaining cell culture and cell banking is preferred

    In Vitro Sample processing and analysis

    o Processing of in vitro assay samples by protein precipitation, solid phase extraction and their analysis of on LCMS/MS

    o Bioanalytical method development and validation for quantification of small

    molecules (NCEs/drugs/metabolites) and generic molecules as well in different biological matrices (Blood, plasma)

    • Collaborate with team and project team members in Troubleshooting, development and

    validation of new ADME cell-based assays and technologies

    • Critically analyze data, interpret and communicate accurate reports, results, and ideas to team members in verbal, written, and presentation formats.

    Key Qualifications

    Post Graduation in Pharmacology / Biotechnology / Ph.D. with a minimum of 5 years of industrial experience in CRO space

    Solid understanding of In-Vitro pharmacology

    • Demonstrated working experience in routine assays including but not limited to solubility assays, Hepatocyte stability assays, Plasma protein binding, permeability assays to GIF assays, and CYP inhibition Assays to demonstrate the metabolic stability enzymes
    • Handling multiple projects with result driven approach.
    • Update with scientific literature advances, developments, and regulatory guidelines in the area of drug metabolism science
    • Knowledge of PK analysis using WinNonlin will be beneficial but not essential.
