    As the third line of defense, Internal Audits mission is to independently assess the firms internal control structure, including the firms governance processes and controls, and risk management and capital and anti-financial crime frameworks, raise awareness of control risk and monitor the implementation of managements control measures. In doing so, internal Audit:

    • Communicates and reports on the effectiveness of the firms governance, risk management and controls that mitigate current and evolving risk
    • Raise awareness of control risk
    • Assesses the firms control culture and conduct risks; and
    • Monitors managements implementation of control measures

    Goldman Sachs Internal Audit (IA) comprises individuals from diverse backgrounds including chartered accountants, developers, risk management professionals, cybersecurity professionals, and data scientists. We are organized into global teams comprising audit professionals covering all the firms businesses and functions, including global markets, asset management, consumer and wealth management, risk management, finance, cyber-security and technology risk, and engineering, and non-audit professionals comprising data analytics, reporting & analysis, and technology strategy office.

    Goldman Sachs IA Administrative Assistant provides assistant coverage for Internal Audit Division in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. This is a demanding role that requires highly proactive, motivated and organized individual who is able to multi-task, a strong communicator who can work collaboratively across divisions and regions, demonstrate good judgement in task prioritization and excellence in time management.

    Skills

    As part of the Administrative Assistant team, you will be providing administrative support to the IA Managing Directors and Audit Senior Managers in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. In addition, you will be supporting the division in administrative duties such as audit reports issuance, new hires and contingent workers onboarding and other related tasks, maintenance of office supplies.

    As a member of the Administrative Assistant team, you will be involved in the following activities: -

    • Provide administrative support such as meeting requests management, calendar management, and expense claims submission for Managing Directors and Senior Audit Managers
    • Provide administrative support to the division such as audit report issuance, group events support, conference room bookings, new hires onboarding, contingent workers onboarding, filing and archiving and other ad-hoc projects.
    • Liaise with other divisions and peers in other locations to complete the administrative tasks and/or to resolve problems arising from the regular tasks
    • Office inventory and supplies management
    • Real estate management such as lockers management, arrangement for printers support.
    • Consistent display of excellent professional interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to maintain high standards despite pressing deadlines, such as strong organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, pro-active follow ups and status updates
    • A strong team player who is inclusive and can work collaboratively across organizational levels, divisions and regions to achieve the desired commercial outcome
    • Strong knowledge of general business, corporate and government cultures.
    • Demonstrate good judgement and high degree of integrity and confidentiality, including ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential and non-routine information.
    • A motivated self-starter with excellent anticipation skills; resourceful and strong problem solving skills.
    • Demonstrated dependability and sense of urgency about getting results.
    • Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • 4+ or more years of relevant experience supporting senior leadership and division is preferred
