Senior Manager - Finance

Looking for Chartered Accountants with 6-8 years of post-qualification experience. The role requires candidates to work with various clients (VC Funds and Startups) in advising on finance, due diligence, accounting, and compliance related matters and implementing financial processes.

It's a consulting role, candidates needs to have entrepreneurial mindset to guide early-stage start-ups in bringing finance prudence and build/manage a small team of 4-6 members and own the P&L for the business they manage.

Job Responsibilities includes:

Investment Transaction Advisory:

- Independently run Financial and Tax Due Diligence for potential investment rounds and support through investment transactions.

- Prepare Due Diligence reports in specific formats and deciphering the data to the potential investors.

- Investment structuring and advisory on business transfer - Acqui-hire structuring and end-to-end execution.

- Project manage the investment transaction, coordinating with cross function team including buy/sell side advisors.

Financial Advisory / Fractional CFO Advisory:

- Review and present timely monthly MIS and Cash flow statements of various clients.

- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the financial budget/forecasts and report variances.

- Review of month closure process and advise the accounting team on various aspects. Review of Financials on a monthly/quarterly basis.

Knowledge of Internal Control Process and Implemented accounting/finance processes

Defining financial metrics, redefining drafts for investor matrix along with analyzing and reviewing the reports before it is getting shared with the investors

Review of forecasts and valuation workings for evaluating company value as per Income Tax, Company Law and FEMA.

- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, ensuring accountability and guidance on continuous learning.
