    ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Job Purpose/Objective
  • Centrally monitor, coordinate, and offer support around the area of Employment Law Compliance and Discipline Management for all businesses of DP World Logistics in a varied and dynamic business operating environment.
  • Partner with the BUHRBPs to ensure effective implementation of applicable employment law compliances and strategic interventions in getting basics right, offer practical solutions to safeguard DP World interest and follow the law of land.
  • Key responsibilities
  • Define onetime and periodical compliance standards for each existing and new establishments using available audit data, site visits, CLMS policy, etc. . As and To Be
  • Establish process workflow among worksite, compliance vendor and BUHRBP to deliver on above compliance requirement.
  • Drive each business unit / sites team and zonal compliance staff to update the information, upload the record on Compliance Tool/s for visibility to Compliance Vendor, CoE team, Legal and Business Leadership team.
  • Regularly conduct periodic compliance partner review and facilitate the action plan to close on all open issues and mitigate the recurring procedural irregularities.
  • Monitor and guide to close all audit action points, inspections and notices in timely manner.
  • Assist the Logistics HR Head in coordinating on all reported Disciplinary Matters and complaints for closures and action plan to avoid recurrences.
  • Create, define dashboards, metrics, measurement of success and conduct regular reporting to stakeholders.
  • Centrally establish access to all information, data, agreements of all Contractors deployed in all Business Unit to ensure validity, audit, and monitoring compliance requirements; timely report to respective HRBPs and business managers to ensure compliance.
  • Support HRBPs for any client audits and procedural compliance requirements.
  • Assist the Logistics HR Head to deal with complex change, system, process implementation programs in the areas of statutory compliance and employee relations.
  • Drive vendor compliance audit and sample checks on need basis.
  • Assist to deploy employee relations and statutory compliance framework (proactive and reactive) and stay informed about on amendments, enactments in applicable employment laws and regulations.
  • Field Visit: Regular & random visits to offices/branches/ hubs /warehouses across various businesses, client sites. Give constructive suggestion to reframe process and policies from time to time to improve compliance standards more particularly for contractual workforce.
  • Lead team of Zonal Agency Compliance Managers, raise the performance bar with every hire, identify training needs and opportunity to develop and coach the team, recognize exceptional talent.
  • Collaborating with other stakeholders to address compliance issues which may impact the function and develop approaches, action plans to manage emerging risks with minimise supervision and recommend process improvement.
  • Provide inputs to internal stakeholders regarding future trends and emerging best practices, welfare, and wellbeing of contract associates.
  • QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
  • Postgraduate in HR or Personnel Management/ Labor laws with 8 + years of corporate compliance experience of state and central employment laws managing multiple sites/ zones Pan India and large-scale contractual workforce is must.
  • Having a Law degree will be complementing to the role.
  • Experience working with NBFC or e-commerce or logistics or warehousing distribution fast paced organization having multi- state/ branch compliance exposure is must.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office. Exposure to HRIS systems, Compliance software, tools will be a plus.

  • External: Vendors, Consultants, Employer Association, Trade Unions.
