- Design, develop, and plan electrical systems for new construction and renovation projects, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
- Perform electrical calculations, load analysis, and fault analysis to ensure designs comply with relevant codes and standards.
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and layouts using CAD software.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, plumbing, architectural, etc.) to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and provide support during construction phases.
- Review contractor submittals and respond to RFIs (requests for information) related to electrical design.
