    Assistant Manager, NE Sales

    A) Knowing, developing and maintaining the elevator market and Otis growth:

    1) Forecasting and target setting
    Meeting customers to assess their requirements.

    2) Developing and increasing customer database.
    Preparing and maintaining Customer History Card for major customers.

    3) Establishing product strategy for allotted territory or account depending on market trend.
    Identifying and maintaining rapport with key persons in major customer organization.

    4) Keeping customer informed, update and equipped with product development and literature.
    Market survey.

    5) Knowing competitors.
    Special focus on major projects.

    B) Generating esquires and finalisation of orders:

    6) Generating and attending new inquiries
    Preparing sales negotiation data sheet.

    7) Preparing and submitting model elevator proposal
    Preparing and submitting tenders.

    8) Attending prebid meetings, tender opening
    Attending negotiation meeting.

    9) Follow up on proposals and tenders
    Negotiation and finalising of orders
    Processing of orders received

    C) Contract Management:

    Preparing of documents such as layout request, change in contract, finalized layout etc.
    Co-ordinating with internal customers (Contractors, Sales HO and Accounts) and internal customer in various stages of the contract till the final payment is collected and handover ceremony performed.

    D) Supporting the sales and marketing function:

    10) Giving suggestions, in interest of organizing.
    Feedback and presentation on market, industry competitor.

    11) Preparing and making presentation to internal customers.
    Updating oneself on company policies, sales procedures and attending identified training programs.
    Handling of any other special assignment discussed and give time to time

    Customer satisfaction and profit and interest of the company with in the ethical policy and the company is the bottom line of the above system.

    E) Environmental Health and Safety:

    12) Participate and facilitate participation of employees in the department in EH&S training as per EH&S plan.

    13) Conduct EH&S inspection/audit as per assigned quota and ensure completion of corrective actions within targeted completion date.

    14) Ensure EH&S rules and procedures are adhered to by all employees.
