OverviewSupport Channel VP and Channel development director on the eAFH & quick commerce channel. Driving the growth of the channel by supporting management of multimarket customers, preparing customer selling materials & analysis, engaging BU teams and developing the community. This role is heavy on engagement with customers retailers and also needs extensive stakeholder interaction and ability to influence. It is a standalone capability within the team and needs to drive the business, along with the eAFH director on the sector side and also works closely with the Channel VP.
ResponsibilitiesSupport Channel VP and Channel development teams in preparing high quality materials, presentations and analyses that will contribute to ongoing channel development projects
Ability to build selling stories, translating insights to implications and actions and assist market lead in pitching the stories to retailers
Monitor market category, customer and competitor performance across key markets and generate scorecards and performance overviews for the categories and customers.
Leverage multiple data sources (Nielsen/IRI, Household panel data, Customer scan/loyalty data) and market/customer understanding. Carry out ad hoc strategic analysis consolidating multiple data sources to provide strategic insight.
Supporting on sub channel insights & data projects, project management, creating materials for markets & selling stories for customers.
Able to collaborate and work with BU teams and external third party agencies to acquire information and resolve any service issues on projects
Work with wider teams to develop eComm Channel intelligence, identifying & understanding channel trends, competition monitoring & opportunity identification
Support on the community management for the sub channel – creating meeting materials, collating best practice and developing relationships with BU leads.
Make sense out of numbers and given information to prepare overarching story and conclusions/recommendations
Prepare compelling presentations – tell stories from macro to micro points of action
Choose and influence stakeholders to get specific information and point of view
QualificationsBachelors' degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering: MBA a plus
7-10yrs insights/ analytics
Prior FMCG experience & strong hands on capability in partnering with Retailers / Customers
Strong Visualization & Story telling skills
Advanced Microsoft Office / PowerPoint & Excel skills
Can synthesize multiple disparate data sources into compelling growth strategies/reviews
Can easily see how insights and research learnings can improve business and frames up reporting efforts and opportunities to inform business decisions
Good collaborator and influencer: Experience working with a breadth of stakeholders and peers – levels, functions and across countries in Europe
Ability to extract key messages from complex data and craft a clear narrative, presenting in person & virtually
Good commercial and operational instinct to ensure recommendations are practical and executable
Well organized, self-sufficient and proactive: Best-in-class time management skills, ability to multitask, set priorities and plan
Can-do, flexible attitude with resilience: Calmly able to respond to rapidly changing business priorities
Proven experience using PowerPoint and ability to producing visually compelling presentations ( beyond just operating the software) that are impactful with a senior audience
