As a Tool Room Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the tool room operations, ensuring efficient and effective tool maintenance, repair, and fabrication. This is a full-time position for candidates with 4 to 6 years of mid-level experience.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Tool Room Manager or similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of tooling materials, equipment, and fabrication techniques.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Manage tool inventory, including stocking, organizing, and tracking.
    • Coordinate with production and engineering teams to prioritize tooling needs and ensure timely availability.
    • Supervise and train tool room staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to source and procure tooling materials and equipment.
    • Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with company standards and regulations.
    • Monitor tool room expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in tooling technology.
    • Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
