    You'll be our:

    What you'll do at Ather:
    Key member leading the Controllership team having accountability forOrder to cash (O2C)Procure to Pay(P2P)Record to report(R2R)Invest to Divest (Asset Management)Taxation, both Direct and IndirectTreasury managementBanking OperationsDigital Transformation initiatives involving FinanceFinancial and Tax Due-diligence with external auditors (Big4)Other Strategic projects from time to time


    Lead periodic book closure, management reporting, Investor reporting, Board reporting and Big 4 audit closures with clean audit reports within the agreed timelines.

    Prepare financial statements (as per Ind AS) and cash flows with monthly/quarterly/yearly variance analysis, reporting vis vis business plan consolidated as well for the respective PnLsPrepare technical memos for accounting positions adopted by the company in alignment with auditors and also vis a vis peersEnsure governance framework is in place for quality control over financial transactions and financial reportingDevelop and document all F&A processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controlsLead ERP enhancement projects, automate operational and reporting routines and act as controller for group finance process designing and implementing systemsManage regulatory compliances covering Accounting, RBI, FEMA, ROC, Tax, etc.

    Interface with the Corporate Secretarial team in compliance mattersEnsure appropriate and adequate insurance coverage policy and claims recovery. Ensure prompt notification of incidents and provide support during surveys through provision of relevant documentation. Represent the business in claims negotiations if required.

    Ensuring that revenue risks and potential leakage is timely identified and addressedSupport debt and equity programs, including new fundraise, restructuring, etc.

    Periodically monitor covenantsManage vendor relationships (lenders, investors, bankers, consultants, etc.)Manage working capital requirements and key contact with bankers for administering various banking arrangements.

    Here's what we are looking for:Excellent interpersonal, leadership and team management skillsIn-depth experience of all finance processes; IndAS accountingExpertise in SAP various modulesExperience in building scaling Finance teams, systems, processesExperience in handling accounts of listed entities and due-diligencesProficiency in MS Office, GSuiteAbility to build successful relationships across stakeholdersAbility to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within strict timelines

    You bring to Ather:
    Chartered Accountant with industry experience spanning Automotive, Retail, Ecommerce, Manufacturing, etc.
    Relevant work experience of 15-18 years (post qualification) with at least 5-8 years' experience in ControllershipExperience working in/with Big4 company in audit/accounting domain is an added advantage
