Responsibilities
- Prepare, run, and monitor test batch efforts in support of application teams
- Extract and load test data
- Participate in release management tasks
- Monitor test batch processes
- Provide first level testing support
- Coordinate test defect resolution with development teams and second level support
- Working hours will be 8 hours between 9am and 9pm IST, based on shift assigned
- 24 X 6 on-call support rotation is required
- Provide leadership for the test support team and be the main point of contact for the client and interfacing partners
Qualifications
- 10 to 14 Years of experience in Mainframe Programming
- 2+ Years of experience in Technical Leadership
- Proficiency in COBOL programming in an IBM z/OS mainframe environment
- Experience in JCL, COBOL, DB2/SQL, EASYTRIEVE, CICS, MQ, IZWS (IBM Z Workload Scheduler), RDX (Relational data extraction), JOBTRAC
- Knowledge of mainframe technologies, including CICS, MQ, VSAM, and DB2
- Test Support experience, including batch and online support, and break-fix support
- Familiarity using mainframe tools, including TSO, ISPF, SDSF, and IZWS Scheduler
