    Role Description

    This is a temporary role for a Cyber Security Instructor. As an instructor, your primary responsibility will be to deliver cyber security training to individuals and organizations. This will include designing and developing training materials, delivering instructional sessions, and assessing learners' progress. The role is located in Ranchi, but you will have the flexibility to work remotely for some portions of the role.

    Qualifications

    • Strong knowledge of Application Security, Network Security, Information Security, and Cybersecurity
    • Experience in conducting training sessions or teaching in a related field
    • Experience in Malware Analysis and Incident Response
    • Ability to effectively communicate complex cyber security concepts
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field

    Responsibilities

    1. Curriculum Development: Designing and developing cybersecurity course materials, including lesson plans, presentations, hands-on labs, and assignments tailored to the specific needs of the audience.
    2. Instruction Delivery: Delivering engaging and informative instruction on various cybersecurity topics, such as network security, ethical hacking, cryptography, malware analysis, etc. Utilizing a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
    3. Hands-on Training: Facilitating hands-on exercises and simulations to provide practical experience in cybersecurity tools, techniques, and best practices.
    4. Assessment and Evaluation: Creating and grading assessments to measure students' understanding and proficiency in cybersecurity concepts. Providing constructive feedback to help learners improve their skills.
    5. Mentorship: Providing guidance and support to students, answering their questions, and helping them overcome challenges encountered during the learning process.
    6. Stay Updated: Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends, threats, and technologies in cybersecurity to ensure course content remains relevant and effective.
    7. Administrative Tasks: Handling administrative duties related to the course, such as attendance tracking, grade reporting, and coordinating with other stakeholders.
    8. Communication: Effectively communicating with students, colleagues, and supervisors to ensure smooth operation of the course and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
    9. Compliance and Ethics: Ensuring that course content and activities adhere to ethical standards and legal requirements related to cybersecurity education.
    10. Continuous Improvement: Seeking feedback from students and colleagues to identify areas for improvement and making necessary adjustments to enhance the quality of instruction.
    11. Security Awareness: Promoting cybersecurity awareness among students and encouraging them to adopt secure practices in their personal and professional lives.
    12. Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of course materials, student performance, and other relevant information for future reference and evaluation.
