About Position

The GCP Cloud Architect position involves a strategic role that focuses on the design, delivery, and management of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions.

These professionals are responsible for developing cloud architecture that supports complex, high-quality solutions aimed at fulfilling business needs and advancing digital transformation initiatives.

What You'll Do

Hands-on experience in IaaS and PaaS Components to deliver end to end Cloud Infrastructure architectures and design.
Well versed with different flavors of Linux. Familiar with Windows platforms too.

Robust understanding of highly available application architectures on cloudDefine migration strategy to move applications to cloud should have prior experience of migration on-premise workloads onto Cloud.

Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation.

Proven experience assessing client's workloads and technology landscape for Cloud suitability, develop business case and Cloud adoption roadmapExperience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural standpoint.

Experience with Lift and shift approaches of cloud migration.
Cloud migration estimations and analysis.
Strong troubleshooting skills.

Knowledge of best practices and market trends pertaining to Cloud and overall industry to provide thought leadership(seminars, white papers etc.,) and mentor team to build necessary competencyExperience architecting an entire cloud environment including account structure and network controls such as VPN, Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), subnets, Firewall rule and security groups.

Design the HA / DR strategies Setup process, services and tools around the cloud .Oversee build of the environment Execute migration plan.

Expert in PythonGood understanding of architectural design patterns such as 3-Tier and MVCKnowledge of Relational, NoSQL Databases would be ideal.

Strong knowledge of Monolithic and Microservices architectures.

Design architectures, build prototypes and establish design based on business requirementsHands-on development of production worthy code for web applications using the latest Java based frameworksContainerize the code and deploy on Kubernetes.

Total Experience:

10+yearsLeading technical discussions with business and technical decision makers, including detailing technical specifications, recommendations, product road maps, deployment, and third-party integrations.

Develop strategic relationships with stakeholders to understand a customer's business and develop strategic road maps.
Lead business reviews and executive sessions to better understand the business and technical needs.
Demonstrated capability to handle Proof of Concept and solution demonstrations.
Work with Persistent Customers to develop and maintain a Cloud adoption and resource optimization road map.

Communicate proactively with customers regarding product information, strategic product plans, recommendations and product road mapsMaintain effective working relationships with assigned Persistent customers.

Significant and progressive experience in industry in developing or delivering Cloud Architect engagements across industries.
Architect and implement DevSecOps processes and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Chef, Spinnaker.
