Job Role:

• Provide technical and analytical guidance to architecture team, infrastructure team, and other technical domains across infrastructure disciplines including server hardware, networking, security, databases, and storage.
• Understand and articulate enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development.
• Provision resources on Azure or guide client to provision required resources
• Ability to handle Azure IAM and active directory integration
• Understand the required data schema for an application
• Build the backend data framework to support an enterprise/functional group level application
• Sound understanding of BI best practices, relational structures, Dimensional data modelling, structured query language (SQL)
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Data Scientists to understand data requirements and provide data modelling solutions
• Design principles for Data Warehousing techniques and Architecture
• Design data models and define both logical and physical models
• Monitoring and Optimization/Tuning of SQL queries, maintaining data consistency
• Ensure timely and accurate data is available to all application users
• Design and implement unit tests, evaluate all codes to maintain data quality
• Document software specifications and maintain guidelines for users

Key Qualifications :

• Good understanding of RDBM's data concepts and unstructured data
• Very strong SQL /querying skills
• Understanding of Cloud Architect
• Azure / AWS and its components for creating ETL pipelines and prepare plans for all ETL planning, architecture and procedures
• Hands on experience in extraction and transformation of data using ETL tools
• Experience in handling large data sets and on the fly transformations
• Comfortable working with Python/R and understands different data structures
• Experience coordinating activities across a global team
• Continuous process improvement/ Quality experience is a plus
• Designing Data Schema normalization techniques to efficiently store data
