Role Description-:

We are hiring for one of our top client and Pune location, with 5+yrs experience as a Data Scientist.

you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data to uncover actionable insights and contribute to the development of innovative solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build predictive models, optimize processes, and transform data into valuable business insights. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three years of experience in data science and a strong background in statistics, machine learning, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis: Analyse complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Predictive Modelling: Develop and implement advanced machine learning algorithms and statistical models to solve business problems and improve decision-making processes.
• Data Pre-processing: Prepare and clean data for analysis, ensuring data quality and reliability.
• Feature Engineering: Create and engineer relevant features to enhance model performance.
• Model Evaluation: Evaluate and fine-tune models for accuracy, precision, and recall, considering business objectives. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and domain experts, to define project objectives and requirements.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and data analytics and apply them to solve real-world problems.
• Documentation: Document all aspects of the data science process, including data sources, methodologies, and results.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists in the team.
• Presales: Support presales activities by providing technical expertise, participating in client meetings, and contributing to proposal development. Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of professional experience in data science or a related role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python / R.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis.
• Experience with data manipulation libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Tableau.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with SQL and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
