    Global Leadership strategy and Development is a team within T&D which owns Deutsche Bank's leadership proposition to assess and develop leaders. This role will be focused on leadership development with a specific focus on building leadership capability at scale, aligned with our Leadership framework. The role is global and encompasses design, delivery, programme management, group facilitation and some 1:1 development work with our select senior client segments. We work in an agile and flexible team model which will require contribution across topics and divisions more broadly.

  • Your Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the design and delivery of the leadership development initiatives for senior leaders
  • Contribute towards the design, delivery of our leadership development solutions and in particular the phase 2 of our overall leadership development strategy in partnership with the Global Talent Strategy and Management team
  • Contribute to the change and the leadership engagement strategy in context of the strategic OD initiatives i.e new leadership and culture framework for DB with a view to drive adoption and integration
  • Partner with the team to develop an internal coaching culture and leverage inhouse coaching capability to support our ambition of transforming the way we lead
  • Support the development of leaders through application of leadership diagnostic tools, support Exco level interventions, provide 1:1 coaching and individual development support as contracted with the client.
  • Coordinate development solutions with HR Business Partners and Business Leaders to ensure ongoing leadership and functional suitability for leaders in critical positions.
  • Contribute to leadership team by using outside in views / theoretical knowledge proactively setting out hypothesis to create practical actions to meet strategic requirements
  • Skilled at preparing presentations with an analytical storyline for senior management and confident at liaising with senior stakeholders when required. Also proactive in taking the lead in preparing materials for key management meetings e.g. steering/executive committees
  • Drive projects in a structured way using PPM disciplines, demonstrating a clear understanding of the strategic agenda and taking ownership of the end-to-end delivery of the work, while ensuring financial and operational efficiency of initiatives
  • Cultivate partnerships with key external suppliers to deliver against leadership mandate ensuring quality standards and inflow of innovative/cutting edge practices in leadership is maintained.
  • Work closely with colleagues across HR to maximize the use of resources, knowledge and best practices as well as to operationalize T&D development approaches.
  • Ability to take personal accountability and structure own tasks to facilitate the successful delivery of small work streams; taking responsibility for distinct pieces of work
  • Identifies gaps in coverage of key issues whenever they appear and flexible enough to manage unexpected additional workload or changes of priority within capacity
  • Your Skills & Experience

  • Approximately 10-12 years of experience in leadership / talent/organizational development field
  • Significant experience with leadership development and OD initiatives in global context
  • Deep knowledge of instructional design in context of interventions for leaders
  • Deep understanding of organizational culture and experience implementing cultural change initiatives and strong programme management
  • Experience of 1:1 coaching and debriefing senior executives using psychometric tools and research based leadership frameworks
  • Experience developing briefings and presentations for senior executive meetings
  • Experience of partnering across HR and with the business at senior levels
  • Experience translating business requirements into clear actionable development solutions
  • Experience working in a matrix environment and in remote teams
  • Strong analytical and conceptual problem solving skills; ability to come up with creative yet structured solutions and lead projects to deliver outcomes
  • Qualifications:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Certified coach with a track record of providing executive coaching to senior leaders.
  • Psychometric certification: Hogan, career tools, 360-degree feedback instruments (preferred, not essential)
