    Description

    Organization Description: Jaipur Rugs is a social enterprise that connects rural craftsmanship with global markets through its luxurious handmade carpets. It is a family-run business that offers an exclusive range of hand-knotted and hand-woven rugs made using 2500 years old traditional art forms. The founder, Mr. Nand Kishore Chaudhary created a unique business model, which provides livelihood to the artisans at their doorstep. This changed the standard practice of involving middlemen to work with artisanal communities. The company currently has a network of over 40,000 artisans spread across 600 rural Indian villages in five states of India. It has an end-to-end business model, right from sourcing of wool to exporting a finished handmade rug.

    The modern and eclectic collection of rugs, made using the finest wool and silk, has won numerous global awards and is currently exported to more than 45 countries with the US sales arm, Jaipur Living, Inc. located in Georgia, Atlanta.

    Job Description: The specific responsibilities of the position holder will be (though not restricted to) the following

    • Should be mature, dynamic and self-motivated
    • Ensure general site administration and execute daily administration tasks
    • Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and suggest ways to streamline processes
    • Keeping details of all petty cash expenses with proper approvals from Management.
    • Daily Housekeeping & Upkeep Guesthouse/Accommodation
    • Manage Mess/Canteen services with hygiene
    • Ensure Safety and Security of premises
    • Procurement and maintenance of office equipment /furniture/fixtures, to ensure their serviceability at all times
    • To maintain a proper record of company assets issued and ensure accountability
    • To ensure general office maintenance like housekeeping, pest control, hygiene, electrical and mechanical, sanitary and plumbing, space management, and minor repairs (Carpentry, furniture etc.)
    • To deal with vendors/service providers like suppliers, couriers etc.
    • Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints

    Academic and Professional Qualifications:

    • Bachelors/Master's degree in Business administration or equivalent degree.
    • 6 - 8 years' experience in administration role with team handling exposure.
    • Outstanding organizational skills, Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to learn new processes and systems and possess the ability to adapt to changes.

    Academic and Professional Qualifications:

    • Bachelors/Master's degree in Business administration or equivalent degree.
    • 8+ years' experience in administration role with team handling exposure.
    • Excellent command on MS Excel and MS Word.
    • Outstanding organizational skills, Analytical mindset and good problem solving skills.
    • Attention to detail, well-organized, reliable and exceptional interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication with good negotiation skills.
    • Ability to learn new processes and systems and possess the ability to adapt to changes.
