• Strong experience with REST and SOAP API integration and development.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for building and maintaining APIs.
• Handson experience with OpenShift or similar container orchestration platforms.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Indepth knowledge of API security concepts, including OAuth, JWT, and API key management.

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of 3scale API Management platform and proven expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining API solutions.

• Design, develop, and deploy API solutions using the 3scale API Management platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define API specifications, including authentication, authorization, and rate limiting policies.
• Customize and configure 3scale API Gateway components to meet specific business needs and integration requirements.
• Integrate 3scale with backend systems and external APIs to enable seamless data exchange and communication.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and analytics features to track API usage, performance, and security metrics.
• Ensure security best practices are followed in API design and implementation, including encryption, authentication, and access control mechanisms.
• Conduct performance testing and optimization of APIs to ensure scalability, reliability, and responsiveness.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and developers on API design patterns, best practices, and 3scale platform capabilities.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in API management and integration to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of handson experience in API development and management.
• Proficiency in 3scale API Management platform, including API Gateway, Developer Portal, and Administration Console.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles, HTTP protocols, and JSON/XML data formats.
• Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth, API keys, and JWT tokens.
• Knowledge of API security standards and protocols, including TLS/SSL, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.
• Familiarity with backend technologies such as Java, , or Python.
• Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
