Responsibilities

Analyze transportation costs and negotiate rates with carriers to provide competitive pricing options to clients

Maintain accurate pricing data in the company's systems and databases

Collaborate with sales and operations teams to provide pricing recommendations and solutions

Monitor market conditions and industry trends to adjust pricing strategies accordingly

Review and analyze pricing contracts and agreements to ensure compliance and profitability

Respond to pricing inquiries and provide timely and accurate quotes to clients

Resolve pricing discrepancies and disputes in a timely and professional manner

Stay up-to-date with international regulations and requirements to ensure proper pricing for shipments

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

Previous experience in freight forwarding or pricing analysis preferred

Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with complex data sets

Excellent negotiation and communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications

Detail-oriented and highly organized

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of transportation modes, international regulations, and market trends
