Job Description for Network & Server Architect

Required Skill Set:

• Devops, Sysops, MLops profiles with primarily AWS experience.
• The more serverless experience (Lambda, Aurora serverless, Opensearch serverless etc), the better.
• Good BASH and Python skills will be an added plus.
• Candidates having AWS Certifications will be preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Installation and configuration

• Monitoring tools
• Reporting tools
• Server Management solutions
• Server Test automation frameworks
• Collaboration with rest of the team
• Create tools to help teams make the most out of the available infrastructure.

Desired Candidate Skills:

• Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments.
• Cloud/Hosting experience (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Digital Ocean, Rackspace, etc.)
• Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Bind, Apache, MySQL, Postgres, nginx, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ etc.
• Proficient with network services like NFS, SAMBA, FTP, TFTP, DNS, DHCP, Rsync, SSH, Telnet, scp, etc.
• Familiarity with load balancing, High Availabilityy,firewalls, etc.
• Familiarity with Monitoring tools such as Monit,Nagios,etc.
• Proficient with network tools such as iptables, Linux IPVS, HAProxy, etc.
• Experience with virtualization technologies, such as Xen,KVM
• Ability to build and monitor services on production servers.
