AboutCompany:Our client aprominent productbased company is seeking a highly skilled SoftwareDevelopment Engineer in Test specializing in mobile applications tojoin their dynamic team in Bangalore. As an SDET you will play acrucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our clientsmobile applications through rigorous testing andautomation.
Responsibilities:

Designdevelop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Appiumfor mobile applications.
Execute test cases andanalyze results to identify defects and areas forimprovement.
Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams including developers product managers and designers to ensurehighquality releases.
Participate in agileceremonies such as sprint planning daily standups andretrospectives.
Continuously improve testingprocesses and methodologies to enhance efficiency andeffectiveness.
Perform root cause analysis foridentified defects and implement correctiveactions.
Stay updated with the latest trendsand technologies in mobile testing to drive innovation and bestpractices.

MandatorySkills:

Proficiencyin Java programming language.
Handsonexperience with Appium for mobile testautomation.

PreferredSkills:

Experiencewith mobile testing frameworks such as Espresso (Android) andXCTest (iOS).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines andtools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Familiaritywith API testing tools like Postman orRestAssured.
Understanding of mobileapplication development lifecycle.
Stronganalytical and problemsolvingskills.

Qualifications:

Bachelorsor Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or relatedfield.
36 years of experience in softwaretesting with at least 2 years focused on mobiletesting.
Excellent communication and teamworkskills.
Ability to thrive in a fastpacedcollaborative environment.
Strong attention todetail and commitment toquality.
