    Job Overview

    We are seeking a qualified Area Sales Manager to join our team at SKF Boilers & Driers Pvt Ltd. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our agro processing equipments to customers in the assigned area. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India. The ideal candidate should have 7 to 10 years of senior-level experience in sales, preferably in the agro processing industry.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Enineering, Marketing, or a related field
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the agro processing industry
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities
    • Knowledge of agro processing equipments and technologies
    • Experience in sales operations and business development
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets in the assigned area
    • Identify potential customers and create a strong pipeline of leads
    • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and decision-makers
    • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective customers
    • Negotiate and close sales deals while ensuring profitability
    • Provide technical advice and support to customers
    • Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
    • Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional materials
    • Responsible for developing business opportunities across the region with the objective of achieving/exceeding revenue and profitability targets.
    • Proper tour & visit planning.
    • Annual sales forecastingfor the year and working towards that to achieve the target.
    • Incumbent will be responsible for selling the parboiling plant / Drier / Steam plant for rice industry.
    • Responsible for building relationships with key stakeholders in the rice industry.
    • Identifying market segments / potential clients
    • Responsible from attending inquiries to closing sales.
    • Arranging Exhibitions and Seminars
    • Inquiry generation by visiting existing and new rice millers on regular basis
    • Responsible for developing business opportunities across the region with the objective of achieving/exceeding revenue and profitability targets.
    • Monitor Competitor Information and activities in region to ensure that the company maintains its competitive position.
    • To build and maintain relationship with new and existing customers.
    • To achieve sales and collection target for the allotted area
    • Proper tour & visit planning.
    • Annual sales forecastingfor the year and working towards that to achieve the target.
    • Achieve set objectives by maintaining effective relationships with customers and channel partners.
    • Is able to penetrate New Market and Products.
