    Description

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Working with functional and technical teams that are both India-based and US-based.
    • Provide daily support with a resolution of escalated tickets and act as a liaison to business and technical leads to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
    • Providing a high level of service to our customers and adhering to our strict SLAs for response and restoration times
    • Problem determination, workaround resolution, root cause analysis, major incident management.
    • Suggest fixes to complex issues by doing a thorough analysis of the root cause and impact of the defect.
    • Administration of multiple instances of Microsoft SQL Server which includes backup management, hardware monitoring and creation of custom SQL views and procedures.
    • Installing SQL Server and Patch Management, deployment of service releases, patches, requests, and customization.
    • Developing and attending training for self-improvement to assist and share knowledge with team.
    • Thorough knowledge of and ability to use MS SQL Server database utilities and management tools.
    • Monitoring Jobs are not limited such as checking backup files movements status, Alert generation completion status, Transactions, disk size, logs, core Checking channels are running, monitoring queue size, checking file processing failures and schedulers running or not, processing files, Report Generation/Extraction, Auto Migration, purging activity, Providing support, Files upload & Logs.
