    Description

    The job holder will work in close collaboration with a stress colleague to create, assess and provide a suitable repair

    solution. The end customers are Airlines/MRO.

    "The main activities are to define repair solutions while respecting a given A/C structure and its accessibility and

    constraints of material and spare part availability. raising and co-ordination of documentation. The job holder is expected

    to be a signatory in the System Installation / structural design / analysis domain or possess the required skill &

    competency to achieve the expected signatory rights. Furthermore the engineer, within the scope of their delegated

    signatory status, is responsible for ensuring that issued repair solutions are correct in regard to the suitability and validity.

    The various task to perform are: ● Manage and process all MSI / ESI (Mechanical / Electrical System Installation) activities in cooperation with

    customer service teams, chief engineering teams, airframe, systems and partners. ● Search: the right inputs to carry out assessments of a given damage scenario ○ Query the right drawings for the Aircraft configuration. ○ Use hand calculations / computer methods. ● Propose & Analyze: the In Service repair solutions for airlines. ○ Support In Service requests from customer, ○ Contribute SB (Service Bulletin) activities, ○ Investigate damage components / parts, ○ Collaborate on ISOs (In-Service Reportable Occurrence), ○ Contribute to SRM

    ○ Develop capabilities and processes to enable and enhance Time, Cost, Quality delivery to the

    Programmes, ● Link up with customer service and design teams to ensure full satisfaction of our Customers. ● Out of hours support (Stand by). ● On site working when required. ● Liaise across stakeholders (eg: Design, Stress / F&DT, Aero, Materials, Perfo etc.) ○ Validate the methods applied and various assumptions & data used. ○ Such that the repair makes the Aircraft airworthy again. ○ Define maintenance programs. ● Report: Prepare the technical justification documents (Design and/or Stress) ● Approve: Approve or Secure Approval of the technical justification ● PM & Business Improvement: ○ Identify and support local improvement initiatives. ○ Aligned across various stakeholders. ○ Ensure timely response, effective monitoring & reporting. ● Required skills and expertise: ● Essential

    o Hold, be working towards, or have the ability to achieve Level 2 delegated signature.

    o Background in ESI / MSI activities.

    o Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, set objectives and prioritize to time, cost and

    quality.

    o An understanding of the fundamental method of design philosophies and an ability to develop these

    methods.

    o Ability to liaise/negotiate with Design/Production, Customer Services and risk sharing partners.

    o Knowledge of aircraft design principles and production requirements.

    o A Team player demonstrating a positive & collaborative attitude.

    o Good interpersonal skills, flexibility and adaptable. ● Preferred

    o Aeronautical Engineering background.

    o Experience of performing Aircraft repair solutions.

    o Experience with MSI / ESI activities on Airbus Aircraft

    o Worked on Aircraft structure on Airbus products.

    o Worked on Airbus design tools such as CATIA.

    o Experience in approval procedures (EASA Part 21/CS/JAR/FAR).

    o Demonstrated problem solving ability
