    Description
    We are hiring for Project Manager for large banking project in Chennai.

    Problem Solving / Complexity / Innovation :

    • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects across the bank.
    • Ability to analyze and identify technical drawbacks and increase process efficiency by rethinking.
    • Detail understanding of different systems for various banking products and functions
    • Excellent analytical skills for data management & process reengineering.
    • Discuss/Debate on issues, which are detrimental to bank's initiative by being open & fair, if necessary to higher authorities.
    • Ability to identify the best solution across platforms.
    • Negotiation and interpersonal skills to seek buyin for projects.
    • Thorough knowledge of software development tools & its applications to business process.

    Decision Making / Authority :

    • Negotiate and decide on the appropriate effort for the simple to medium change request.
    • Recommend change solutions to incorporate newer standards & monitor change benefits.
    • Review functional specifications and coordinate user requirements.
    • Seek consensus with project sponsors on proposed solution.

    Competency level :
    Education Level and Technical skill sets required :

    • University Degree
    • Should be PMP certified.
    • Should have broad knowledge about the applications being used by other banks and Industry trend.
    • Good Knowledge of banking applications in the respective domain
    • Good understanding of various System Integration applications.
    • Good knowledge of various MIS requirement for the domain and reporting tools used by the banks.

    Work Experience :

    • Over 8 years of Banking software development/ implementation for large organizations.
    • A good knowledge on Project Management and combination of operations knowledge with expertise in system applications in the domain.
    • Able to justify the change undertaken
    • Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects spanning across large divisions.
    • Knowledge of Banking products & regulations in the domain.
    • Expertise to manage & prioritize among several projects based on business need, cost, resource and risk.
    Salary Offered : 10-16 LPA
