Profile : Team Lead Application & Production support
Job Location : Juinagar, Navi Mumbai
Total Experience : 7 years to 15 years
Should be having very good experience on the Domain like :- Securities, Capital, Equity, Trading, BFSI
Key Responsibilities
Application & Production Support
SQL, SQL Server, SQl Queries
Incident & Application Support
Lead and manage L2/L3 application support activities
Own incident management lifecycle (logging, prioritization, escalation, resolution, closure)
Act as Incident Manager for major/high-severity incidents
Ensure SLA, OLA, and KPI compliance
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures
Coordinate with development, infrastructure, DB, and vendor teams
Team Leadership & Management
Lead, mentor, and coach a team of application support engineers
Manage shift rosters, on-call schedules, and workload distribution
Conduct performance reviews and provide regular feedback
Ensure knowledge transfer and maintain support documentation / SOPs
Stakeholder & Communication Management
Act as the primary point of contact for business users and clients
Provide regular incident reports, dashboards, and status updates
Participate in service review meetings with stakeholders
Process & Continuous Improvement
Drive ITIL-based processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request)
Identify recurring issues and propose automation or permanent fixes
Improve monitoring, alerting, and operational efficiency
Support change and release management activities
Technical Skills
Strong experience in application support (web / enterprise / cloud applications)
Hands-on with Incident Management tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira, etc.)
Good understanding of ITIL processes
Knowledge of databases (SQL queries, troubleshooting)
Understanding of Linux/Windows environments
Experience with monitoring tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, ELK, etc.)
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred
Soft Skills
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Ability to work under pressure during major incidents
Analytical and problem-solving mindset
Decision-making and conflict resolution skills
