    To ensure the serviceof food and beverage to the guest with appropriate courtesy andefficiency.

    Requirements

    DutiesAndResponsibilities:

    A.To develop restaurant sales by setting high standards ofservice.

    B. Toensure complete preparation of restaurant/ room service misenplacebefore the area opens foroperation.

    C. Totake the guests order correctly and with appropriatecourtesy.

    D. Toassist the guest in choosing the best items on the menu therebyincreasing sales by upselling and suggestiveselling.

    E. Tohandle all guests without bias orprejudice.

    F. Towrite out guest cheques and ensure their proper processing bypresenting them to guests and encasing thesame.

    G. To assistthe captain in preparing the general storerequisition.

    H. Tocarry out any duties assigned by the Captain/Manager

    I. Tofollow the house rules and policies laid down by themanagement.

    J. Toadhere to strict grooming and hygienestandards.

    K. Toconsciously and continuously strive to better his/ her skills andincrease his/ herknowledge.
