- Assist in the recruitment process, including job posting, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including orientation, training, and integration into the manufacturing environment.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Assist in fostering a positive work culture and promoting employee engagement initiatives within the manufacturing plant.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyse feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.
- Assist in identifying performance issues and developing performance improvement plans in collaboration with managers.
- Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on performance-related matters.
- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and competencies relevant to the manufacturing industry.
- Identify training needs based on performance evaluations, skill gaps, and organizational objectives.
- Assist in implementing career development initiatives to support employee growth and retention.
- Assist in administering compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and incentives.
- Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws and regulations, including prevailing wage requirements in the manufacturing sector.
- Support the administration of employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices tailored to the manufacturing environment.
- Stay updated on labor laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting the manufacturing sector.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in HR roles within the manufacturing industry, with a solid understanding of its unique challenges and requirements.
- Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and compliance standards relevant to the manufacturing sector.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and MS Office applications.
